Join Guildhall School for three exciting new works written by composers and librettists on Guildhall’s MA in Opera Making & Writing in association with the Royal Opera House.

Featuring this year are: Alexander and the Tree by composer Sorena Sabah and librettist Jess McNulty; Gef! by composer Sam Meredith and librettist Sophia Trewick; and Strings of Rebellion by composer Mary Offer and librettist Adi Denner, all performed by singers and repetiteurs from the first year of the Guildhall Opera Course.

There will be a post-show discussion on Monday 30 June in which you can hear more from the artists behind Opera Makers. Free to ticket holders for that evening’s performance.

Part of Making It Festival 2025 – an annual celebration of new, original work created by Guildhall students.
