• As a Director…

I have a deep passion for integrating text, music, and movement to help performers fully embody their roles. I am drawn to clear storytelling, detailed character work and rehearsal processes that are both rigorous and supportive. Across opera and theatre, I aim to create productions that feel alive, emotionally honest and connected to their audiences, while fostering collaborative rehearsal environments where artists feel confident, listened to and creatively engaged.

  • As a Choreographer...

I have over fifteen years’ experience choreographing for theatre and opera, with work spanning traditional and contemporary musical theatre as well as operatic productions. Trained in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary styles, I bring a strong technical foundation to my work alongside a clear focus on storytelling and character. As a choreographer and movement director, I approach movement as an expressive tool that serves the drama, working closely with performers to develop physical language that feels purposeful, musical and true to the world of the piece.

  • As Assistant Director...

I am an adaptable assistant, able to respond to the working style and priorities of different directors — knowing when to lead, when to observe, and when to facilitate quietly — and I work independently and proactively, anticipating the needs of the rehearsal room while contributing calmly and constructively under pressure. I am also confident in leading and rehearsing cover casts.

My experience as a choreographer, movement director and intimacy co-ordinator is something additional that I bring to the role of an assistant director.

  • As a Teacher...

I have over fifteen years’ experience teaching dance, movement and stagecraft to performers of all ages and levels. I began teaching at the Rawle School of Dance in Macclesfield, where I was the lead practitioner for Musical Theatre training, and since then have worked widely with young people, students and emerging professionals. My teaching is is rooted in clear communication, encouragement and care.

I offer a range of workshops and coaching, from individual performance and audition preparation to group sessions in movement, storytelling and consent-based practice. Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the participants, creating a supportive and focussed environment where performers can build confidence, develop skills and take creative risks.
